  1. Day 1: Marrakech – Ouzoud waterfalls – MarrakechMorning departure from Marrakech towards the Middle Atlas. On arrival, meet the resident Barbary macaques, then walk down the olive-shaded path to the foot of the falls; a second trail leads to the top for the best panorama. Traditional lunch by the water and, depending on the season, a swim in the natural pools. Return to Marrakech in the late afternoon.

Swimming is most pleasant in the warm months and depends on seasonal conditions, but the cool pools are always welcome after the walk.

Is the walk to the foot of the falls difficult?

The path is well laid out and accessible but involves a short, moderately steep walk. The view is well worth the effort.
