Itinerary

  1. Day 1: M'Hamid – Sahara tracks – Erg ChigagaDeparture by 4x4 from M'Hamid after lunch. Around 2.5-3 hours of track through tamarisk forests, the rocky Hamada plateau and scattered dunes, with stops to meet nomad families. Late afternoon arrival at Erg Chigaga, settle into a comfortable camp, traditional dinner and evening around the fire. Optional camel ride at sunset.
  2. Day 2: Erg Chigaga – M'HamidBreakfast at the camp, then return by 4x4 on a different route (about 2.5 hours) through dunes, oases and mineral plains. Arrival in M'Hamid late morning or early afternoon.
